HOW DOES IT TAKE PLACE? Rio Lerca Canyoning
MEETING POINT:
At the meeting point you will meet our guides, who, after a brief introduction of the route, will provide you with all the technical material you need for the activity.
At the meeting point we will park the cars, and leave everything you need to change at the end of the route.
APPROACH:
From the meeting point we will walk for about 40 minutes to reach the beginning of the canyon.
The trail is sunny, so it is recommended to bring a small bottle of water.
The approach will be done in costume, or you can bring shorts and a T-shirt to wear under your wetsuit.
THE CANYON:
the canyon lasts about 5h, (depends on the group) the dips and slides are never compulsory, you will choose whether to do them or not.
From the moment you enter the canyon, it is obligatory to get to the end. (there are no exit routes on the route)
THE RETURN:
From the end of the canyon in a 20-minute walk we will be back at the cars, where we can change and finish this beautiful day.
Knowledge of rope descent techniques is not required.

- 5 mm neoprene isothermal wetsuit
- Helmet*
- Buoyancy aid vest* (only if booked in advance)

WHAT TO BRING? Rio Lerca Canyoning
- A polyester thermal shirt to wear under the wetsuit.
- Swimming costume.
- Towel.
- Sneakers/trekking shoes to get into the water and socks to get wet.
- No hand rings.
- Those who wear glasses should make sure they are fastened to their head to avoid losing them, Those who use contact lenses, preferably the disposable type with a spare pair.
- A plastic bag to store shoes, socks and anything else that will be wet after the experience .

INFORMATION
Before entering the canyon you will be informed and trained on
- the objective and subjective risks encountered in the canyon environment and in canyoning activity.
- the behaviour to be adopted for personal and group safety
- the progression techniques, as described in the documents called ‘briefing’ and ‘card’, which can be downloaded from this site
- behaviour to respect the environment.
You will be accompanied by professional, experienced Canyon guides, with a diploma from the Italian Canyon Guide Association or with equivalent qualifications
Recommended age: from 10 years*.
* minors must be accompanied by at least one parent or other adult to whom they have been entrusted. In the latter case, parental authorisation is required for the minor to take part in the activity

- a good, normal state of health
