(all participants are however free to find any other accommodations that best suit their needs)
SECOND DAY– CODULA ORBISI
Breakfast and transfer to the Supramonte, to explore Codula Orbisi, a canyon carved in limestone, where the erosive action of the wind and the water has created exceptional geometrical shapes. The first part and the final part of this canyon are usually dry, while the middle section includes a beautiful underwater passage, where the water is cold, very cold!
Transfer: 45 minuti
From our vehicle : 15 minuti
Canyon descend:circa 4 ore
Return to vehicle:50 minuti
We will return to the B&B, have dinner and spend the night.
THIRD AND LAST DAY
Today is the day dedicated to the Grotta Donini. A gem of karst erosion, an exceptional place.
The access to the cave is through a hole that has a 1 meter diameter, dropping down to the canyon bed of Codula Orbisi, with two abseils into as many vertical galleries, to reach a partially flooded gallery, that is simply spectacular! After this, a 15 m abseil will bring us to the underwater torrent. From here on, the descent alternates flooded sections, that we will swim across (up to 100 m long), and dry sections. The exit point is on a cliff wall, and the final waterfall is 50 m high and, needless to say, spectacular!
From our Vehicle:15 minuti
Canyon: circa 5 ore
